Arkas Ports in Ambarli: Kumport/ Marport Arser provides port services to Arkas companies, such as Limar, Marport and Arkas Transportation. Limar Kumport Container Terminal, the fourth largest port in Turkey is one of the Arkas terminals which Arser services. Arser, whose maintenance activities are planned and protective, provides comprehensive overhauls, machinery repair, spare parts and operator procurement.

Arser checks whether the companies to which it provides service, do or do not need spare parts, handles the purchases of consumables and provides efficient stock management 24 hours a day 365 days a year in order to ensure that the machinery always remains operational. Arser’s team monitors all the maintenance of the heavy machinery in the ports through computer programs using its own software and meets requirements for every kind of spare parts.

The procurement of operators is also included within the scope of the services provided by Arser. The service provided both by the operator and the technical personnel ensures that all the required servicing needs are met. Arser’s personnel at Kumport are completely specialized in port services and operators are both sent abroad for training and receive training in Turkey from foreign technicians.

In the future Arser aims to meet the needs, within the framework of Arkas’s plans, for the procurement of every kind of machinery, personnel employment planning, technical consulting about machinery and consulting about machinery that will be purchased or is already in use.

At Ambarlı ports of Arkas (Kumport / Marport), Arser provides technical and operational service for a machine park of 71 machines, including cranes. A total of 191 personnel work at these ports including administrative staff, technicians and operators.
