Narrow Aisle Stacking Trucks:
Reach
Mast Trucks, Height Lift Stackers and Order Pickers
are examples of this group. These machines are used
in the delivery of goods onto the shelves in warehouses
equipped with shelf systems. These are electric trucks
and can reach heights of up to 14.5 m. Terminals connected
to a server may be adapted in order to follow the spare
part entries and exits or the preparation of spare parts
according to the waybill in automated warehouses.
Reach
Mast Truck:
The
driver is positioned to the side on this truck. The
mast, which lifts the load, moves forward and backwards
sliding on the inside of a base on which the driving
wheels are mounted. As a result, these trucks can stack
and turn easier than normal forklift trucks with forks
in the front in narrower sections. In higher warehouses,
cameras and monitoring systems are recommended. |

MX-type Trucks:
On
these trucks the driver is lifted together with
the load. Upon arrival at the correct destination
in the depot, the driver can easily deliver the
load onto the shelf. The driver cab can be raised
or lowered during driving between the shelves,
which prevents any time wastage. |

GX-type Trucks:
On
these trucks the driver stays on the ground while
the load is lifted. The load may be delivered
onto shelves on both the LH and RH side of the
truck. The width between the two shelves is about
1800 mm. For warehouses with heights of over 7.0
m there are two recommendations;

2.
Horizontal Material Handling Machines:
Horizontal
material handling machines are electrical devices used
by drivers in order to take a load from its location
and transport it to a new location. This group includes
electrical pallet trucks and pedestrian high lift pallet
trucks.

Pedestrian Low Lift Pallet Truck (EXU type):
Here
the driver controls the lifting and transporting
of the load by only using the control panel with
no further need of human labour. |

| b.
Low Lift Pallet Truck (EXU-S type):
The
EXU-S is a robust tiller-controlled truck with
a stand on platform, ideally suited for the loading
and unloading of lorries. High travel speed makes
it particularly suitable for long runs. The control
and operating elements are housed within easy
reach in the tiller head. Everything can be operated
without removing the hand from the tiller: rotary
switch for speed and direction, buttons for hoist
and lower, push button for the horn. The load-enhanced
contact pressure of the drive wheel together with
large swivel castors means that the EXU-S enjoys
extremely high lateral stability when traveling
around bends and will also stay firmly on track
under braking. |

Pedestrian High Lift Pallet Truck- EGV type:
The
newly developed EGV from STILL - a completely
new and at the same time functional design. Even
easier to operate; even more maneuverable; an
even greater residual capacity; and an even greater
turn-round of pallets per battery charge. A pedestrian
high lift pallet truck with high value retention
at minimal cost. Available in 1.0 - 1.2 t capacity
for applications requiring small to medium turn-round
of pallets (e.g. service industries) and, for
industrial requirements with a high turn-round
of pallets, in 1.4 - 1.6 t capacity. Reliability
of the highest level. |

Low Lift Order Picker – CS type
The
CS range is ideal for order picking at low-level.
Built-in support castors provide high lateral
stability and the sprung centre drive gives light
steering plus optimal floor adhesion with loads
of varying weight. The automatic end of stroke
shut-off not only saves energy but also allows
the pump to run more quietly. Drive characteristics
can be adjusted to suit application conditions,
while battery sizes from 300 to 450 Ah can be
fitted. |

Programmed Load Transporting and Stacking Systems (without
driver):
These
systems are used for transporting loads between different
locations inside a warehouse and connecting different
assembly lines with each other inside a factory. They
are normally not used by a driver, but if necessary
a driver may control them. Robots and stacking trucks
automatically do the stocking inside the shelf system
according to a predetermined program. They can work
to heights of up to 30 m and sometimes even higher.
These systems are an alternative to transport by conveyor
systems. The use of conveyor systems makes it impossible
for other trucks or people to enter the system.
These systems get their information from a server through
a cable network and they do the commissioning according
to this information. If the sensors realize any obstruction
on their way, they stop and continue as soon as the
obstruction is removed. |

Electrical Platform Trucks and Tow Tractors
Even
extremely heavy loads won't stop the STILL tow tractors
and platform trucks. The R 07 electric tow tractor and
the R 07 hybrid tow tractor for example have a towing
power of up to 20 t and the R 08 electric transporter
offers a choice of carrying capacities – 1.2 or 2.0
t. The robust STILL pulse controller for drive and steering
makes for fast, safe working and requires the minimum
of energy. Other features include "on-demand"
power steering, damped and sprung driver’s seat, generously
sized driver’s compartment with ample leg room, and
comfortably shaped operating levers for good grip. The
special reversing button developed by STILL guarantees
a fast and safe trailer-coupling operation. For combined
indoor and outdoor use there is really only one choice:
the extremely environment-friendly R 07 hybrid tow tractor.
With this unit, the drive mode can be changed from battery
to diesel at any time – without even interrupting the
journey.
The
three wheel electric tow tractor is a compact and highly
efficient power pack. Fitted with a powerful, near-silent
electric motor which gives excellent driving performance
and acceleration, the R 06 is very robust and environment-friendly.
As well as hydraulic drum brakes, the R 06 has electrical
braking which operates when the drive pedal is released
or when the direction of drive is changed. This is not
only safer but also very economical because the energy
released is fed back into the battery to give increased
working time. Ergonomic construction and a superbly
comfortable driving position guarantee high levels of

Mechanical and Electrical Pallet Trucks
These
are devices where a hydraulic pump is driven by human
power and using this power loads are lifted slightly
to be moved from one location to another. There are
special editions with a lifting capacity of 2.0 to 3.0
t to carry rolls of paper or cable. For humid areas,
food, medicine and chemical industries there are rust
free products.
